Our whole list is pretty much signed up until the end of 2027.
Not much trading can be done this year.
Florent & Hayward signed long term contracts and were despatched to Carlton. Contracts can be broken and if the club wants to facilitate a trade it will happen. Works both ways with players wanting out too even though they are contracted.
Wouldn’t surprise me if we see some more player movement or list changes later this year. If we have an ordinary season could be some big changes.

We have a fair few that are in the last 18 months of footy (Adams, Lloyd, Rampe, Hamling and Cunningham)

Therefore its going to be an awfully quiet year as I don't see many players shifting to the rookie list and those mentioned above are pretty much all rookie lists

Assuming we re-sign Amartey and Jordon then move Cunningham to the rookie list that would leave only 2 senior list spots open at the end of the year.

We will need to trade a contracted player to get to the 3 required senior list spots for the draft.

So any suggestions on trading in other players or free agents from other clubs would require two or more contracted players to be traded.

So don’t expect us to be active in the player market this year.
