I believe the biggest reason we have been unsuccessful to date is because our supporter base are such a bunch of pussies. I watched Oprah's The Secret and she said whatever you manifest to the Universe will eventually come back to you. So all you people saying we won't achieve this, we won't make that are just putting a bunch of negativity out there and begging for it to come back to bite us.
So harden the **** up and get POSITIVE people. We WILL win the flag this year, which will be the start of a dynasty the likes of which has never been seen before. West Coast will wallow in MEDIOCRITY for many years, forcing their followers to acknowledge that we are the number one side in the state and that we are their overlords. Then they will fold that skidmark of a club and expunge their asterisked premierships from the AFL records for all time.
Other than that I'm not expecting much this year.
I am manifesting one... let's seeSo mo super yacht this year?

George was Australia's answer to Mick Jagger. In my mid twenties I jumped in the back of a troopy full of hippies from Darwin to a remote music concert east of Katherine. When the troopy broke down the car load of people sat round the car and ommed at it. This really happened. None of us had a mechanical clue.
I peered into the riddle of the engine, kicked a tyre, I didn't om at the car. I thought that was mad and got a lecture about manifesting our future and focusing the mind on positives.
An hour later a car came by because everyone was driving to the music festival, and two blokes jumped out and got the troopy running. My friends believed they had manifested the bush mechanics and I realised that although I loved hippies, I didn't have it in me to truly be a hippy.
It was a great music festival. One of four times I danced live to the Warumpi Band. George Rrurrumbu was black Australia's answer to Angus Young or Tex Perkins for stage presence. RIP George.
Anyway this whimsical aside is over, back to Freo expectations.
Some of the numbers starting to look at bit better as far as age/experience, but realistically we're still 3 or 4 years away from the 'window'.
Another final/s would be high on the agenda. If we can win one and play in a Semi, we're still ahead of the curve. A prelim would be awesome, but a bit of a dream at this stage.

"Take a good hard look at motherf#$%^ng boat!"
Draper, chapman, Murphy, Davies, worner (taller than Ryan) don't count?Cox, Pearce and Ryan could all be done in 4 years and we have very few options for key backs coming through. Our time is now.
The newly adorned Nude-Nut is only 27 (28 in August), so hopefully we'll get more than 4 years out of him. Ryan has just turned 30, and Pearce will be 31 in June, so yeah, they'll probably be done in 4 years time. Add in McDonald turning 30 in a few weeks and there's definitely room to draft / recruit a few talls down back.Cox, Pearce and Ryan could all be done in 4 years and we have very few options for key backs coming through. Our time is now.
Based upon exposed form the bolded certainly do not count.
Draper and Murphy ahead of Chapman for key defenders, and are doing fine.Based upon exposed form the bolded certainly do not count.
Wondered where that'd got to. Thanks for finding it for me.
All things being equal we could give a prelim a shake. but all things aren't equal.Cox, Pearce and Ryan could all be done in 4 years and we have very few options for key backs coming through. Our time is now.
For me, there's little difference between aiming for a Prelim and aiming for the Granny. It's only one win difference - granted, a big win. If we're good enough to get to a Prelim, we should be able to win it if we play at or near our best. We've got the team for it.I would like to think were aiming for a prelim final.
31 seasons so far and we only made 3 prelims last was 2015.
Its surely time this squad made the leap.
We play 13 games in WA we should be looking at winning 11 as a minimum.
Then we only have to go just above 50% on the road for 17 wins.
That should be around top 2 mark.
There's plenty of data on average age/games played of Premiership teams. I posted where we are at.OMG we segue quicker than Christopher Walken:
person:
1. "realistically we're still 3 or 4 years away from the 'window'" - which is wrong for so many age related reasons
2. "Cox, Pearce and Ryan could all be done in 4 years and we have very few options for key backs coming through. Our time is now." - which is spot on. Discussion should have ended here, but:
3. "Draper, chapman, Murphy, Davies, worner (taller than Ryan) don't count?" - now we are heading well off topic
4. "Based upon exposed form the bolded certainly do not count." - and off chasing Alice we go
5. "I'd say Draper counts. He's been good during pre season and has played well in the past."
6. "Draper and Murphy ahead of Chapman for key defenders, and are doing fine."
In summary, we are well and truly in our window, and while we currently do have good potential depth for KPD, in 3-4 years time our list will include Andy, Caleb, Shai, Jackson, Darcy and Young all about 30, Cox, Pearce, Darcy and Ryan either retired or close to it, i.e. window is likely closing fast.
It's weird... I think we could get 16 wins again and get 5th by bad percentage.Top 4, pushing for top 2.
No more of building expectations.
Came 6th last season with 16-7. No reason to build on that and improve.
