World cup would be great but it would look stupid having the majority of games in oval stadiums.

Am I thinking too positive?
Could see another Korea/Japan or ASEAN bid. So maybe 2054 is too positive.

With one team qualifying directly from the Oceania group (most likely NZ) then would it be better for some Asian strugglers to move to that group and have more chance of making a World Cup? Also making the Oceania group a lot stronger.
Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand Myenmar and maybe even Sri Lanka and India play in the Oceania group.

Might as well just merge Oceania with Asia in that case.
stuff the asian strugglers , Oceania was treated badly for years , always playing south america 5 th side . Other than our near stuff up last time , moving to asia was a great move

Vietnam & Thailand shouldn't be in that group, they actually have half decent national teams.
The rest of those teams won't ever be qualifying for a world cup ever unless it is expanded to 64 teams and Asia gets 12.5 places.
Then there is no chance the battlers can make a World Cup.
But they are not good enough to take on the Asian powerhouses
Might be more chance for competing for a spot against New Zealand?
