So a month at home in the middle of the season is pretty good.

It will be good for us in the long run, we need to become aggressively competitive against all teams.

Don't mind the draw and the home games,
Dislike the double ups , low and high ones.

(Is it odd to like the draw but dislike the double ups when they account for half the draw...)

If North & Richmond get 1 top 8 double up,
I'd have liked one of ours to be swapped out for a double up v Ess or Melb.
Probably Essendon as we only played them once last year (and played the dees twice)

Too late now, but swap one of the GWS games for Essendon and we'd be pleased.

The only solution is, everyone played each other once, rotating between home away, year to year. Then its fair. But we all knows it 100% about the money and the AFL would never go for a shorter season. So make the game shorter, and everyone plays twice. That will also never happen.

Pretty good fixture IMO. Dockers is always a lock for a double up so yeah, could have been nice to only get one other top 8 team but overall, pretty good with regards to travel, breaks between games and minimsing long trips. Only 1 NSW and 1 QLD game. No Tassie or GMHBA games. The month at home in the middle of the season is also great.
Also reckon Pies wont be much chop this year so may well be only a mid table double up there.

A bottom team is not a crowd puller on friday night football.

Just rotate the fixture into the next year so that over 3 years you play everyone 4 times
