Let’s see if any other of the top 6 get drawn against 4 contenders, or if it’s just us.

nb: I’m expecting Collingwood to fall off a cliff, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Geelong finish bottom of the 8.
That is kinda my thoughts too.
Hoping to get both of them as our double ups.

Aging list although still a lot of young umpires to play for them.

I say they get Tigers, Eagles, Blues, Bombers and North twice to help

and yes GWS and Pies as double ups not be bad.
You think we get Cats and Suns. So that could be 4
Bottom 6 we get Demons and Saints I bet
I say Dogs and Swans be our others.

If we get 4 top 6 we won’t be getting 2 bottom 6.
It will be 4,1,1 most likely

What will pi$$ me off is if other top-4 clubs that end up with only 2 top-6 matchups.

I think the better move would have been for top-6 clubs to not have a double up against a bottom-6 team because these are almost a free win - but derby games would prevent it being a hard rule.
(unless of course if you're Brisbane playing either Melbourne variant...)

Some of those teams in the top bracket are going to be pretty tasty matchups next year. I am not terrified of any of them tbh.

GWS and Collingwood look set to slide. We have Geelong's measure. Freo are Freo and Adelaide got humbled in September and don't have a midfield.

That's based on the pre-finals ladder though. What does the AFL use for fixturing?

VFL will prob change the rules and we do not play Eagles, North, Bombers or Tigers once and double ups on top sides
Cannot have Lions win 3 in a row. Eddie cried last time :)

FFS! Classic AFL to not give us another AO game. Guess we'll see later today if it's true or not

Probably against North, maybe WCE, Freo or GWS.

Sensational start to my day. I can start to book in winery tours

Anyway the AO whinging is overrated. It is better for us that we play elsewhere. Give me Sleepy Clarko's norf please.

Fake magic round game at the Adelaide Oval would mean that we play a big Vic club there - won't be crom or pear because they will get big vic teams for both attendance and tv audience reasons.

So leaves us with a big vic club that they think can fill out the stadium (maybe carlton?) and I'd rather have the away game in Victoria.

Give us Flagmantle in the Barossa pls. Much better to avoid the double trip to Perth and I get to do winery tours.

The Mount Barker game in 2023 ruled so much. Boutique novelty stadium, Norf fans spending all their time talking up LDU being > Cam as they lost by 100 points.

Convenient access to german beer in Hahndorf afterwards. Perfect afternoon.

Call me a scab then.

Barossa Park
