I like this revised fixture idea. If they go the Friday twilight you’ll find it’ll be played @ Norwood Oval. Port Adelaide’s spot in the fixture is an unknown as they’ve played Saturday night, Friday night and then Sunday night. Will depend a lot on opposition, either Saturday or Friday night I think.
If Friday twilight is a Norwood game that would mean saturday twlight would have to be played in the barossa. Not sure how good the lighting is but it would be a 4.15 game. I don't mind Keeping the 3 games on Sat in CBD vicinity like last year so people can get back and fourth to see all the games.

Barossa games likely to be the early games on Saturday and Sunday

So we lose an MCG game disappointing
Too early to say.

Collingwood and Melbourne both play 9 home games at the MCG, Hawthorn 6 or 7 and Carlton and Essendon will both play 5. I’d suggest that there is a very good chance Brisbane will play Collingwood and Hawthorn at the MCG plus one or two other tenants.

Brisbane’s 3 MCG games last year drew 60,000 so there is no doubt that Lions games at the ground will be in demand.

No, you lose a Marvel game.

Richmond is selling the game the AFL forces Richmond to play @ Marvel to Tasmania. With the horrible deal @ Marvel it's more profitable for Richmond to play in Tasmania than in the West Gate Wind Tunnel

We actually smashed our record for Victorian attendance by 47k last year which was set in 2009 over 7 games, this year we did it 8n 6 games.

Our gane against Collingwood broke the record for biggest home and away attendance for an interstate team at the G.

We’ve never played Richmond at Marvel are you sure that’s not an G match I could understand if it were the Suns you always play them at Marvel

As mentioned above, Richmond hosting Brisbane is usually at the MCG, with one game at Marvel in the last 15 years.

Nah, 7-10 play for the last 2 finals spots a week prior.
Just like 5-8 have played for the last 2 spots of the final 6 in the last 20 years?

Either you're wrong, or I imagined watching a game between the two clubs on 16th July, 2017.

Also, in the 9 home games Richmond has hosted the Suns, we've played at Marvel 3 times. Barely "always"...

Maybe instead of trying to "correct" me with your incredibly inaccurate knowledge of AFL, you can spend 5 minutes reading articles about how Richmond has been negotiating for months to "sell" our Marvel home game over the next few years to make extra money for the Punt Road development while we're rebuilding.

The first attempt was trying to sell a Richmond Home game to play GWS @ the SCG, with the Tasmanian government funding for matches in Hobart being the second choice.

Richmond's game in Tasmania is to replace the Marvel game.

Nah, 7-10 play for the last 2 finals spots a week prior.

It's a top 10 with the top 6 getting a bye the first week.

There's no "wildcard" aspect to it at all.
