10. GWS - I've been thinking they go off a cliff for years but always end up competitive

11. Carlton - I can also weirdly see them being a really competitive side but who kicks their goals

Watching preseason game vs Suns. Your team look in great shape, primed. All players outside 23 are hungry and played well. Reasonable injury list. Unbelievable list having a lot of young players who got finals experience. Incredible depth.

The misreading by most posters of Melbourne is extraordinary.

It's like they think we've just started rebuilding.

We may well finish 14th or lower, but the assessment of what we're doing and our next few years as we're supposedly just now embarking on a rebuild is diabolically inept.
 
30 minutes before the start of the season (for 55% of teams) is the only appropriate time to do this.

Notes:
  • Brisbane 3-peaters (thank you AFL “equalisation”)
  • Gold Coast to have a similar season to Adelaide last year; dominant in regular season, out in straight sets in finals
  • Pretty much the inverse of last year where we have a competitive lower-half of the ladder. Could see all of 9th-13th being danger teams on their day
  • Sydney to actually be competitive in a granny for once (still lose by 20)
  • Collingwood to miss the top 10 thanks to an after the siren goal from GWS’s Toby Greene against Adelaide in the final round (I am not a crackpot)
  • Essendon to pull a West Coast and win 1 game for the year (with the one win being against West Coast for the memes)

11. Saints (steady year working their way up on the right track still think its 2027 as finals for the saints)
12. North (Clarkes men 2026 improvement times for them and its good time as well for cellar dwellers and move into middle tier team handy on their day are north watch on them in 2026)
13. Blues (2025 all over again rinse repeat again need a full rebuild in 2027 but still has Voss so wont bottom out stagnate year for the Blues in 2026 neither here or there really but the fans go to the games tho)
14. Port ( see Blues similar situation as well to the Blues are Port)
15. Dees ( methinks entering into rebuilding times now and long term pain for the Dees nowadays)
16. Tigers (tiger kids will start doing some good things but still long way to go in still a rebuilding phase in 2026)
17. West coast (win one more game to finally avoid the spoon just this time maybe on percentage only)
18. Essendon (out of eagle and Essendon are spooners for 2026 Just a toss of a coin)
