I wonder if including the game in the membership has something to do with who gets North at Optus in 2027? Freo only got 31.5k to their "away" game at Optus, if we can bring 40-45k, maybe they think it'll be more likely to be us again in 2027 instead of having to go back to Bunbury?

Not sure how money is allocated for games, but as they'd still be the official 'home' team, I also wonder if a higher crowd number means North get more money? Would they also get a cut of the vendor income?

In reality the State Government has bought the 2 home games from Norf that they would have played before small crowds in Tasmania. They have a bigger supporter base in Perth and will make a lot more money. One of the reasons they sold the games is the introduction of the Tassie Devils in 2028.

Do North just get the agreed amount, and ticket proceeds go to WA Gov ?
Or do North get a % of the gate?

ie, by forcing the North game onto members, who are we actually paying?

Fairly sure it's already agreed that it will be Freo at Optus next year and the Eagles back at Bunbury. I guess if the contract gets renewed after that, the Eagles would get the next one at Optus.

I bought the $9 3 game flexi offer to commemorate the Harley extension, but apparently I have an invoice to pay $130 for next year.
I have no idea what the $9 I paid was for then. Perhaps it was always too good to be true.
Now to wait for an email response...

When it was first announced, they said the third year was TBD. Have they updated that subsequently?

This is what really interests me about the 'Norfs WA deal' and their fixturing going forward.

I note last year Norfs had their holiday in WA and played both their home games in WA but did not return to WA for a WA team's home game.

2026 and 2027 fixturing awaits.

Payments were taken this week, so the chance to change seats next season will be soon.

I only have the single membership so moving is easy for me.

Any recommendations? Currently sitting in block 331 which is above the cheers quad. I like the seat, good view and cheap. But its right next to the oppo supporters block which drives me insane.

From memory when the tickets go on sale for a game you can reserve one through Ticketmaster using your barcode number

It's been a good 4-5 years since I've done it though so the process may have changed since then
