Anyone able to help out with a couple of barcodes to secure reserved seats for GWS game in rd 1?

I’m a New South Welshman and flying down for it and only have an interstate sideline membership this year. Don’t want to miss out on tickets as I believe it is expected to sell out.

it won't be a sellout mate through my experience

Yep, it sucks doesn’t it.

If they call me bout raffle tickets, I’ll tell them the same story

Guess you should be thankful you don’t live in Kiev or you’ll never get to a game 😆
I still had my membership for 4 years when based in Kiev, but yes it was a little difficult to get to a game 😂

Hey Dudes
Where is the best / safest place to sit at the Adelaide Oval for the 20 March match against Adelaide?
I was thinking of the Cheer Squad area behind the goals?
Is there an away team area?
Woof Woof.
I’ve been to a lot over the years, I prefer a Port game to a Crows game in general as the crows tend to have a number of supporters who find it unbearable that there could be an opposition supporter with a different view. It’s improved a bit since the old footy park, where dodging a half eaten pie being lobbed at you was a semi regular event 😂

Generally, at AO there are two dogs areas, directly behind the northern goals in front of the hill, and usually a bay on level2/3. Ultimately I’ve sat in both and it’s been pretty safe ( as it is generally) but really comes down to viewing preference.

No way it sells out.

We have only ever head a couple of sell outs at Marvel, and never came close to having one against an interstate team. And GWS have the poorest away crowds in the league.

You'll be able to rock up and take your pick of seats on Level 3.

Only reason to reserve a seat on Level 1 will be to make sure that Toby hears your abuse. This will be the 1st time he has played a game against us at Marvel in about 7 years.

officially signed up again this year after a year of protest
bevo please change my mind on you!

sen is running their membership day tomorrow grab a great deal ladies and gents!

Just a heads up guys after I paid its showing that it's a 9 game membership instead of 11. I've sent the doggies an email telling them to clarify this. Hopefully it's an error on their end and not some funny trick.

upon further digging and reading the terms and conditions

5. Replacement Games

Replacement games will not be provided in 2026 as the Marvel home game membership has been re-classified as a 9-game membership.

have I been scammed? isn't false advertising??

Great news
they’ve confirmed it’s definitely for 11 games.

The Ballarat games have been relocated to marvel and they hadn’t been able to change the name of the membership.

A big stuff up by the club sending out text messages and emails saying you are at risk of a suspended membership because they couldn't process a payment, when in fact they had processed the payment.

Yes had the same issue re non payment when the bank statement shows a deduction. Might be why you can’t call the club today to work it out as imagine they are a bit busy.

Yeap, was just on the phone on hold before thinking, maybe I should check my bank account. Sure enough money left my account. Add it to the long list of stuff ups by the club in regard to memberships over the years.

Sounds more like a systems error than a staff issue.

Let’s not shoot the messengers. Not yet, anyway!

Systems/process errors usually originate from a human's input though GDB.

In IT, some of us refer to them as PICNIC errors (Problem In Chair, Not In Computer). 😉

There's also the ID-ten-T user error! 😉😀

I was able to get two of the special $20 Level 1 tickets in the accessible seating area for the game. I'll be in my chair and my friend in a seat next to me. The only bad thing is that we're behind the GWS cheersquad. However, that will give me plenty of opportunity to jeer them and their team, especially Toby Greene.

As of now the only other game I'm scheduled to go to is against Melbourne in May. Should be plenty of cheap tickets to that game.

Only four more sleeps.

Has anyone changed seats because of the people around them?

I love my L2 seats but there is a lady behind me that is driving me up the wall. Three ladies probably mid-fifties. Probably decent people. Unfortunately one of them is the most annoying person on earth.

Every time the opposition line up for a set shot she points her finger at them and chants “Miss, miss, miss, miss”. If they do miss she says “Eek, eek” as she high-fives her two mates.

When the opponents have the ball in general play she will chant, “Kick it to us, kick it to us, kick it to us”.

I don’t think I can take any more of it. It’s like sitting in front of an uncontrollable toddler. Would this be enough for anyone else to leave their otherwise perfect seats?

Been sitting in the same seats for 26 years. We have one of the most one-eyed (Dogs) supporters I've ever seen behind us. Some of his barracking and calls about umpiring are embarrassing. And they're every few minutes. I've learnt to (mostly) block them out and focus on the game or chat to my family and friends. Very rarely I feel obliged to point out to him the inanity of his rantings, but it achieves nothing, so now I just let it go. No way I'm moving though, apart from the people I go with, there are people in front and to the side of us we've become familiar with over years/decades, and more extended family nearby.

Try being more Zen, Mantis, is all I can say. Or distract your annoying neighbour a few times... maybe wave your hands in the air, or give your good lady a passionate smooch! 😀

Headphones.

Make sure you look directly into her eyes and place them theatrically onto your head when she starts up.

Back on topic.

53,000 so far aiming for 70,000. Gettable?
I'm sure halfway through the season the club will be offering Docklands Lv2 tickets for $2 each to get the numbers up with a free membership for your respective pet/pets

My membership card didn’t work yesterday. First time in 15 years this has happened. I was going in with friends, who I’d just met up with, had had my bags searched and was ready to enter. I had to rush around to membership services half way around the stadium and get a digital ticket sent to my phone then line up again, and get halfway around the stadium again to meet up with my crew. Has this happened to anyone else?

Sorry for de-railing your precious thread with my own personal membership experience. From the guy who took the free tickets I gave away last year, no less.
Fair enough mate - apologies.

Was a bit surprised our membership tally wasn't much of a focus - it could, and should, be a record-breaking year!

It has me questioning whether I continue to cough up for L2 seats plus social club when you can milk these “special offers” on memberships and discounted GA with sear tickets on certain games, particularly against interstate clubs
