2026 Membership Thread

Membership pack came today. Why do they presume your pet is a dog? A catnip filled mouse in the tricolours would have been nice. I wish they had the Official Pet Member Certificate with the pet's name on it like 2025. Zsa Zsa's was proudly put on my front window along with my Member's bumper sticker. It was quite noticeable here in my retirement village.

Didn't receive my $20 shop certificate to get the member's scarf. I almost have enough of them to be woven into a scarf blanket. I'll contact the club later.

This certainly was a nice start-to-the- new-year surprise.

Mine was only posted yesterday, and won't get to me until probably next Tuesday. Of course coming into next year I'll have to ring the club to make sure I only have 1 Women's Membership (I pay for 2 for some reason and haven't fixed that)

I always used mine for the cap after they stopped including them in the pack. So there was no 2025 member’s cap only ANOTHER useless scarf. Every other club still manages to have the member’s cap.

I’ve just logged in to check mine and it looks like they’ve reverted my membership from interstate to 6 game home….thats pretty useless for me in Qld

Have they changed the rules on what membership you have to have to be a Social Club?

I had the interstate last year with it with no issues

Wasn’t there some discussion last year or the year before that a survey of members showed a huge percentage favoured the cap over the scarf? Or is that another thing I just dreamed? It’s happening a lot.

The Bulldogs website says a $20 voucher for the Bulldogs shop should be with the pack. I was going to use that toward the scarf plus postage.

When I asked about the voucher in March 2025 I was told I don’t get one because I have a reserved seat !!
I said what’s that got to with it and got no response.

Spoke to the club before Xmas…they’ve changed the name to streamline the packages (aka put the price up) put the price up however now as I’ve suggested to them for years, you get access to all games in your home state - we can go to GC and Gabba this year

So I got my “pack” today….

Long term members gets worse and worse every year. I’m over 30 years now and for the first time, the didint auto renew me….i only found out when I got an email saying I’ll lose my social club if I don’t sign up

When I spoke to them on the phone they told me my interstate pack had changed to a 6 game for the ease of some bullshit while also increasing the membership cost considerably(which is what I had prior to moving) and I have SC add on. They also said you can attend all games in your state.

Well the membership card I received says 6 game, Bronze, entitles me to 6 games at Marvel. No mention of interstate or whatever. Also, it says my level of membership gets a $20 bulldogs shop voucher to buy a hat or beanie. It says to use the digital voucher…..where is the digital voucher?

I’ve looked up the membership inclusions and it says access to one (1) game in your state….and it also says you need to call member services 4 or more weeks before the game to arrange tickets to that game….doesthe ****ing left hand talk to the right hand around this place? I’m sure it’s bevos fault.

If anyone wants to SC membership after this season, you can probably have mine because it’s highly unlikely I’ll be able to afford to fly down for a Grand Final. I can’t attend the SC anymore so might as well let someone else have it. I went to 2016 so have seen us win a flag live.

Anyone know what the real story is or where to find the barcode?

It's certainly an over-statement calling it a 'pack'. It's a membership card and a tin badge which most of us will never wear. Still, I suppose I don't need much else, I already have a drawer full of scarves and caps.

1st time member this year, bought the Mrs her first membership in Nov for xmas (arrived yesterday ). We are in Country Vic so the lesser games suit us & if I dont go she can always take her dogs supporting Mum.
For those wondering I'm also a Lions & Rabbitohs (NRL) member this is what they offer in comparison.

$182 ( Traditional Vic membership)

Tickets are available online tomorrow morning for our first game at the Gabba vs the Lions. I received the email yesterday with that information. Of note - you have to choose one of our games to attend with your membership, between the game at the Gabba or the game against the Suns later in the year for your ‘free’ game in QLD.

Tell them to take the ticket cost out of the free cash they get out of us interstate members by only giving us access to 1 game a year but charging us for 6 when some seasons we pay and don’t even get a game to go to in Qld.

We went two full seasons with no qld games but still paid our memberships.

I get why they do it, but the change to treat interstate as 6 game home members this year to streamline things is a reach.

It should be a non negotiable that you get to attend all home and away reg season games in your state and have priority access to any finals tickets involving your team in that state.

No interstate member needs access to 6 games at Marvel. If you are financial enough to be able to travel for 6 games of the year from interstate, then just buy a standard 6 game membership.

I’ll keep banging on about it. I ticked the box on the survey for them to call me about what I wrote in the survey for the 3rd year in a row and still waiting for those calls.

It just feels like the easy option for them - the focus isn’t on members outside the state, that was evident by the comms around the qld camp. Numbers were waaaaay down on the Saturday on last year

Anyway, it’s Friday, the footy starts soon. I got my ticket to round 1 (refuse to call it OR) - think I’m next to the cheer squad so that should be fun
