Waiters is a weird inclusion, but cleaners, janitorial staff, security etc I agree

No matter where I've worked, hotels I've stayed etc, I've always said hi to cleaning staff - ultimately we all want to enjoy our experience, and much easier when polite & courteous

I've had quite a few interesting conversations when yarning with non-medical staff in hospitals
