There's been a minor frustration from a certain section of the Australian public over the past 24 hours upon realising that when taking the Australian citizenship pledge or the pledge when taking office, that one doesn't need to pledge their allegiance to God as we are a secular country

It's amazing how many learning this are losing their shit learning that one doesn't pledges their allegiance to God on a daily basis and that we have freedom of religion in this country

I also love the ones that when you question how much of the Bible they follow & "abide" by, that when they say of course they ignore certain parts you call them out as hypocritical for expecting others to pledge to follow a God they clearly don't follow themselves
