Food shortages are already happening. Fuel has gone up and down for years and quite possibly will go up again this year, maybe significantly. Inflation will almost certainly go up at some point, probably this year.

My French teacher spent most classes reminiscing WW2 Spitfires the French underground and a certain mademoiselle, as 14 year olds we lapped it up and most failed French that year but great history lesson from someone who was there.
