As interesting as this development is, it also raises more than a few questions - the deadline as set by Tennis Australia for exemption applications was Dec 10, while Novak apparently tested positive on Dec 16...

Dates like that don't mean a lot though. Government probably told Tennis Australia it would take up to 10 business days to make a decision once the exemption was submitted. So TA just put a soft deadline of December 10th on it as they know they'd have zero chance of anyone in the government being available to assess it post christmas, everyone would be on holidays for 2 weeks and the AO would be started already.

I love his theatrics. He is one of those players who needs to show his frustrations during a game in order to find something most others can't.
Kyrgios is similar. Tends to look completely uninterested before a decision goes against him and he starts interacting with the chair umpire and spectators. Brings the best out of them.
