It’s the start of winter, a Monday night with work & school tomorrow, and this is for a “friendly” - not part of a tournment, qualifications for a tournametn etc

How often do we see crowds this size for an Australian mens team on the international stage, especially outside of tournaments

Absolutely phenomenal!!! The crowd was delightful + love seeing all the young girls so excited. Matildas had possession in their forward line for so much of the first half of the game. It was so cold here, had to go to bed. It's so exciting. Also love watching the women's NRL, Rugby + AFL. A friend's grandaughter plays NRL + Rugby, in both of the ACT state teams. She's fantastic, very talented player, although she's only 15yo she's playing in the U17s.
