Anyone else having any issues with Australia Post in regards to receiving online orders?

I had bought something online a couple of weeks ago where the expected delivery date was given as earlier this week, however according to the tracking on the parcel, it's saying Australia Post picked up the item up from the seller on the 5th December and there's been no further updates since. I found out yesterday that my parents are experiencing something similar with an item they ordered from a different retailer around the same time.

I made 2 purchases on eBay - 1st Dec & 2nd Dec

The 1st Dec order was from a seller I purchase from on a semi regular basis as they sell the phone cover I like - it's gone up from $9.95 to $10.95, but I'm pretty happy for a cover that I get 18months from & which I've never broken my phone or cracked a screen when using. So ordered on Sunday & delivered Wednesday, very happy

On the 2nd I ordered a case for my new iPad - I'm kinda fussy in that I want a rotating case for my iPad so I can use it in portrait or landscape mode when standing it up; I would have ordered off Amazon but they didn't have what I wanted & it was going to be more expensive

So ordered on the Monday, tracking info on the Tuesday and then a couple more updates to say shipping info received by AusPost followed by nothing until the next week before finally delivered over 10 days after ordering. The crazy part is that the info was initially received by AP Sunshine West, then sent to the sorting facility at Melb Airport before going back to the sorting facility at Sunshine West


Try contacting them tomorrow - they have live chat options which is currently available if you want to talk to a bot, or you could get onto a human tomorrow

Not sure which FB page it was on, but someone commented the they were wondering if it was the same driver they saw last month who did the same thing and was trying to get their kids direct them out
