TOG could still be low for some of these rookies as a result, which will still hurt scoring as rotation cap stays the same. As mentioned above, teams could go with the second ruck now instead.

They generally play if they are sub as well. Just mentioning that we may not see the uptick in scoring or value we potentially expect as a result.

It should stop the single figure scores though you would hope. Ha

Will be great to not have to analyse the benches and also check the subs for every game.

There's still the late outs, but they actually weren't too bad this year.

The checking across the weekend is annoying, as it doesn't take any skill, but sucks up time.

I was thinking the same thing about Langford last night. I reckon he could be a 90+ average next year but will be around $380k so it would be a gamble he could still pull a few rookie scores in big defeats.

My guess they keep it as it was aimed to offset the bad luck element of an injury very early in a game
