Whilst Dovaston is clearly a bit of a dopey lovable larrikin.

Clearly an animal on the track and in the gym.

He’s pretty strong and stocky with an established engine for an AFL small forward .

I’m expecting he plays R1 comfortably.
Pick 16 this year was $136k. JS is always a bonus.

There should be a few cheapies in the forward line. DevRob, Lombard, Draper all bottom price.

Would expect 3 of those spots to go to (in no particular order) Lombard, Graham, Rogers, Clohesy, Uwland, Paterson.

Swallow also goes out of the 23. Davies and Weller under pressure too. Plenty of room for the young guys if they perform. Dimma has shown he will drop the rookies though.

Trac straight swap for Flanders playing 50/50 fwd/mid (swapping with Humpa). JUH is no lock for R1. I would expect they give Walter first crack as he is OOC this year.

Dimma was always a SC friendly coach in his Tigers days, always gave the young blokes a decent stint, not too sure how it's been at the GC so far.
Very early days I reckon Lombard and Uwland are there from the start.

I had the other Uwland brother one year and he was actually a really good POD cow, younger brother comes with much higher plaudits.

Would have really liked both the early GC academy kids at Tigs.

Don't forget Charlie Ballard to return as well which would put some pressure on Joel Jeffrey and maybe others

No.1 draft pick Willem Duursma was recruited for many reasons but near the top of the list was his versatility, with the ability to play in multiple positions.
It appears he will be given the opportunity to play as a midfielder straight out of the gates for West Coast after featuring heavily through the middle of the ground to begin his second week on the training track.
Duursma spent time matched up on the likes of Harley Reid and Elliot Yeo during several ball movement drills and didn’t look out of place, leaping for marks and pushing hard to create space.
Fellow top draftee Cooper Duff-Tytler is looming as a third tall forward who will work hard up the ground.
Many will be hoping the man known as CDT will be the next generational ruckman at the club, but until he puts on some more bulk, it appears as if he will spend a lot of time in attack early on.

YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS

Probably thought he was worth more than what they offered 😂

Some decent DPP players, even though most are not a shock.

Sheezel m/f
Rozee d/m
Petracca m/f
Freija m/f
Treloar m/f
De Goey m/f

All have interest from me. Shame most of them are opening round.
First three are locks.
Rest meh.

Treloar lucky to play half a season.

Priced at 72 in four games. Before last year only missed 6 games over 3 years and averaged 96.3, 107.6, 116.5

Understand the risk but as a forward he’ll be in a shitload of teams especially if we get a look in opening round.

Surely WB are moving past Treloar? Freijah and Sanders must be ahead of him now right?

Not wasting time on this, did my team months ago, just gonna fill it with whatever rookies play round 2 or 3 or whenever the season starts, throw it in by round 5 - whatever round that actually is, and start doing stoopid stuff again so I can jag a round sometime this century- It's so easy when you have a well thought out plan. :)
