2026 Player / Locker Sponsorship

Hi there

I thought I'd kick off a thread nice and early to see what interest there may be in a group of BigFooty Collingwood Supporters getting together to sponsor either a player or a locker.

The last one of these sponsorships was in 2023. A few folks tried in 2024 but we weren't able to get it off the ground.

The details are simple. We all put in a nominal amount of money (I'm suggesting $150, but happy to reduce), and we pool our money to buy the Sponsorship, and then divvy up prizes through a randomised draw (1 ticket per $150). Looking at last year's packages we can assume a package might cost around $5k, meaning we'd need about 35 of us to join at that minimum to get there.

Let me know by using the poll. I can then kick something off more seriously in December when more information about the actual packages are available. I've already registered interest.

The player sponsor package offers the most ‘experiences’, which gives more of us a chance at winning something, but is $7.5k. So will cost more than $150 if 35 of us participate.

The cost has gone up considerably over the last few years. Sign of the times I guess.

Yeah the price is frankly a bit outrageous. I suppose they're trying to attract businesses and the like, rather than ordinary supporter's groups. I'd be happy to discuss going for a higher package. I suppose it all comes down to the levels of interest amongst the group?
