Yeah they'll battle. Relegated to D4 and you'd assume the coach will take a lot of the players with him. No juniors.

Same old thing goes on... one club pops up, another goes down.

Would hope they're not paying too much - D3 and D4 Southern is pretty horrendous footy.

That’s why I asked.
Serious coin for Div 3 Southern players appears to be out of the ordinary to me.
I am aware that some Ashwood players will be coming over.

We will see soon enough.

Can second what Avidwatcher is saying here, but can understand the skepticism completely Bobby. I am well aware of numerous players especially from the Southern being poached by Donc and they are being offered some serious coin. Will be interesting to see how Donc go this year nonetheless

when ashwood and other clubs in southern offer zero then yeh a hundred bucks a game is going to be considered “serious coin” lol
It isnt serious coin in eastern it’s almost a base contract
there is your big diff between the leagues

Hahaha mate there’s no issue here at all. I’m just saying from what I know that there’s a chance they are going to blow well over the salary cap.
And as for your ‘confident guess’ I can tell you (you don’t have to believe me, your choice) but I am actually not an Ashwood person I live in the area but not a player or associated with the club (more of a fan who gets to any game in the EFNL or SFNL he can).
Just got a few well informed mates from a few clubs in the southern and eastern.
As for being upset, I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to?

given you have no association with the club I would say its a stretch to suggest any club will go over a salary cap based on just a few signings or heresay

nobody just in “in the area” of a footy club goes onto an online forum to make those types of big calls about another club dude lol

Sorry mate but I’m entitled to be a fan of local footy and not be directly associated with anyone, the comings and goings are super interesting and bigfooty is a great place to hear about them.
Some of it may be hearsay but some of it I know for a fact is not.
As for naming names, I’m not going to mention any here.
With your point on making ‘big calls’ I apologise if it came across as a definite thing, was just doing the maths and it’s a possibility Donny will be well over the cap.
