A bit harsh, not everyone is comfortable addressing a crowd, I thought he was fine.
Nothing wrong with it , some just have it in for him for some pathetic reason and surely he gets till the end of 27

I definitely don’t have it in for him, I just found his speech delivery poor and uninspiring.
Pridham... Cox... Mills... we are not exactly entering a golden age of great Swans orators.

As long as they do their jobs though I couldn't care less if they spoke Welsh.

Part of me hopes we'll see Sheldrick & Cleary in the mids together at senior level at some point this year, though I'm not optimistic. I feel like they've played a lot of footy in each other's pocket the last few years, in the VFL and in match sims and such. They should have a pretty good chemistry which I think is handy in a midfield.

You had me at Sheldrick.

The snippet of training I saw today had the boys practising contesting the ball. As I arrived they split the talls and the rest. The talls were practising contesting the ball aerially, and the rest were practising tackling and passing the ball off to a teammate while they were being tackled and having their arm pinned. I was standing closer to the talls, and watched them. Liam Hetherton monstered Noah Chamberlain. There were a lot of good contests.

There was a special visitor today: Kinnear Beatson dropped by and appeared warmly received by all.

Brodie Grundy has shaved his beard.

Riak Andrew was around but I didn't see him involved in the contested drills. Will Edwards on the other hand was contesting strongly.

Not many track watchers today, after the double figures we've been having on Fridays lately.

Hetherton is going to be a real good'un.

Team has been announced for tomorrow's game.

JMac must have tripped over something in his rush to sign a new contract because he's absent despite appearing fine at training last Friday.

Papley, unsurprising, is also missing, while Dattoli's "deloading" continues.

The "absent list" seems a bit random. Certainly it's not complete. Maybe missing off rookies like Chamberlain, Hetherton and Hanily is excusable, but Cunningham might be checking he still has a shadow.

i knew some welsh guys a long time ago ... great guys, and no problem comprehending them when talking directly with them ... but geez, when they talked among themselves ... a couple of them were among the funniest people i've ever met

When they speak Welsh I'm convinced they're just making it up as they go along
