You're actually on the money. Adelaide v Brisbane, Port v St Kilda.
This would buck the trend of the SA clubs playing VIC based clubs. Remaining teams to choose from are: Collingwood, North Melbourne, Richmond and St Kilda

Hopefully we see some more fixture drip feeds today.. I am just waiting for the Freo v Crows or GWS v Crows Round 1 to be announced. No way we cop a Melbourne or North Melb away Round 1

IMO all of the first four rounds scheduled north of the Victorian border should be night games. Day games that time of year are subject to the kind of heat AFL was never designed to be played in.
Speaking of night games

If the AFL are serious about a night GF then watch and count how many Vic teams get night games

So the AFL is going full on socialism.

If 3 or 4 of your double ups are against teams in your “six” this will compress the teams competing for finals berths. I predict there will be at least 3 changes to the top six.

How foolish must the EPL feel having every team play every other team twice, once home and once away. They could make so much more money with Arsenal and Liverpool playing each other four times.

There is still no excuse for us to finish outside the top six with 13 games at Adelaide Oval.

We now know the worst case scenario for our fixture.

Four double ups against other top six teams; Brisbane, Geelong, Collingwood and Hawthorn
One double ups against a middle six team; Fremantle (or Sydney)
One double up against a bottom six team; Poort Pear.

From our remaining 11 matches there will be 5 away matches and 6 home matches

Away matches; Gold Coast (Darwin?), GWS (Canberra?), Sydney (or Fremantle), Bulldogs (Ballarat?), St Kilda (Docklands)
Home matches; Carlton, Melbourne, Essendon, North, Richmond, West Coast.

Looks like around 12-13 wins????

If we end up playing Hawthorn in Tasmania it means we have one game in Melbourne (two if you include Saints).

St Kilda don’t have games in Tassie anymore.

And I doubt we are playing in Darwin, Canberra, Ballarat, Tasmania and Geelong in one season given we do draw crowds.

My bad,it is Richmond that are playing a game in Tassie. Change the St Kilda match to Docklands and that is our toughest possible fixture.
