This thread has discussed scented candles and Garry McIntosh.

It’s a very diverse and inclusive thread. Nobody can claim otherwise.
Diverse? Wouldn’t have though those two aren’t far apart?

100% Crows will start the year on the road in 2026. Going on history (most of the time) teams alternate.
I can easily see us playing Fremantle away Round 1
Teams that played away in round 1 in 2025:
Carlton
Essendon
Freo
Brisbane
Port
North
St Kilda
GWS
Gold coast.

Don’t expect in favours from the AFL given how we made them look dragging out the Rankine stuff.

2 x WA trips
1x TAS trip
1x Skilled

All but guaranteed.

At least one of Darwin, Ballarat, Cairns or wherever they’re playing now, probably.

We’ll get Collingwood twice.

No matter the rest of our double ups, it’s going to be a tough fixture.

Guarantee Bulldogs at shithole stadium Ballarat. Guarantee... unless the AFL stop playing games there.

Will get Geelong twice so no problem playing at Shithole potato stadium.

Will certainly get at least one Shithole Tasmanian stadium. More than likely against Hawks.

Collingwood twice - no problem for me. Will win one or possibly even both of those.

As for Darwin - I hope we get a Darwin game. I love that place and will go there again next time for certain.

Reckon you're correct with 2x WA

What about Alice? Lets throw in a game against Dees in Alice.

Bring it on. Bring it all on! :muscle::muscle::muscle:

PRIME-TIME SHOWDOWN

The prospects of a Friday night Showdown appears slim in 2026 despite constant pushes from both clubs.
There has been league-wide interest in a mouth-watering clash between Adelaide and Port Adelaide to be held as a stand-alone fixture in recent seasons, but it appears likely the requests will be denied.
There was a prime-time Showdown in 2024, held on a Thursday night, but it is unlikely to receive a Friday night fixturing.
Despite missing the stand-alone fixture, Adelaide is set to be more of a prime-time team in 2026 after the Crows’ minor premiership.

The Crows have hosted the opening match of Gather Round for each of the three iterations of the festival of footy, drawing massive crowds to Adelaide Oval.
Port Adelaide hosted Hawthorn in a grudge match as the pinnacle of Gather Round in 2025.
It would be intriguing to run another rivalry match during Gather Round, with Adelaide v Collingwood the obvious billing after their thrilling clashes last season.
But the AFL would be hesitant to offer that as a fixture, considering the Magpies constantly draw some of the biggest Gather Round crowds from non-South Australian teams.
of the Crows and Power.
The Power’s main fixture request will be to host a game during Anzac Round given its strong history with the defence forces and the programs it runs in that space.
