Pleads concern for players mental health then repeats hearsay on the airwaves. Hypocrite of the highest order.lol
Yeah we played someone we knew was drunk
I mean… what I find bizarre is that if Caro’s story is right, then she’s saying Michael Voss had some insight on his health.lol

But you sort of run that through a logic test and it doesn’t make sense. I mean, why would a bloke who is coaching for his future and under enormous public pressure play a guy who he had some sort of inkling was drunk? It just makes no sense to me.
but they made a catastrophic error in keeping him on the field when it was clear that he wasn’t right.
It doesn't even matter what the eventual truth of events is, the club has demonstrated its utter negligence for allowing something this absurd to even happen in the first place.I'm just seriously disgusted with how incompetent this club still is. It's no wonder why we've been shit for so long.
It's actually seriously downright embarassing like this is worse then winning spoons, this is like no one knows what they're doing and no one gives a shit, it's a joke...
Had 60% game timeIt's pretty poor that they didn't recognise that something was wrong before the game but not figuring out that he wasn't in any state to be playing AFL footy by quarter time is just unfathomable to me. I'm probably missing something but I cannot understand it.
I think he was playing pretty normal minutes until the last quarter which is why it ended up at only 60%Had 60% game time
Reckon they recognised it, or something at least
100% this is spot on. I'm not blaming Elijah, we know the kid has issues, I'm just dissapointed with everyone around him from the player leadership group to the coaches and everyone involved in a leadership/management capacity. Beyond an absolute joke, I'm sorry to say but we're a rabble, we really really are.It doesn't even matter what the eventual truth of events is, the club has demonstrated its utter negligence for allowing something this absurd to even happen in the first place.
I really hope people are held accountable because it's beyond embarrassing.
Yep which is obviously when they thought something wasn’t rightI think he was playing pretty normal minutes until the last quarter which is why it ended up at only 60%

I don't believe Caro, but I do believe it isn't going to go away any time soon and the club is going to cop it one way or another.
I might add though, Caro isn't the only one who has said Lij was telling opposition players about his state...
Caro's source is Collingwood players
Elijah may have been whatever, but Collingwood players said it so must be true...
Also love the way you can say apparently and then add whatever the fck you want after that
The above doesn't remove the fact that we made mistakes on all levels

Only mentions alcohol rumours she's heard because "Carlton hasn't shut it down".
Doctors and nurses report they didn't see anything like that. Which would be shutting it down.
But Caro reckons she has to report it as credible.
Only slightly hyperbolicThis has got Black Friday 2002 written all over it - can see us kissing Cody Walker goodbye.
Caroline Wilson and the rest of the Carlton friendly sports media will drive this till AFL right royally ream us.
