He's not a smoky to win the RS anymore than Richmond are smokies to win the 2026 flag. A smokey for a nomination maybe? Not to be in the leading field by end of season.

As I said the fact that he's now a second year, has the tank, training well and is likely to get plenty of opportunity are all things in his favor compared to many others. A smokey.

Well hes 23rd in line according to the bookies so that'd probably leave, at a guess, 100-150 odd other eligible prospects that would all in fact be MORE delusional.....according to sportsbet at least.

The Richmond hype cycle is strong to take him from delisted rookie to top 25 hope in the rising star in a couple of months.

Apparently he's already a better player than high picks who've already played (and weren't delisted) like Bo Allan and Jordan Croft.

Bo Allan played in West Coast's intra club today so he can't be too injured.

And lack of opportunity isn't stopping anyone winning the rising star. If you're good enough to be in the hunt you're playing every week. All the top 3 last year played finals.

1. He played 2 games in his first year. As I said you'd have been laughed at for suggesting he'd turn out better than the early picks in his draft year. Do you ever read what I say?

They have CDT in there too. No chance either feature in the top 10. It's far easier for mid to come in and get instant recognition.
