Bailey Smith my priority next week. Has caused a rethink on this week's trades also.

Plan is Blamires & McAndrew to Derkson (has to be a 99K defender) & Smith. Money will be on a knifes edge however. Need McAndrew to go up about 2K and Blamires hold price to be safe.

If I want to guarantee it, can trade Nas this week to Ash, and could then trade Carroll or even Devon Robertson to fund the upgrade.

Means I miss Archie Roberts unfortunately, who I had planned on getting this week. Not sure I love Ash over Roberts actually. Will have to give it more thought.

In the exact same boat...

This week..
Farrow > Henry
Lindsay > Roberts
180k ITB

Next week..
Lombard > Kalani (+150k)

Means I could trade Murdock > Smith

Ideally, Derksen gets named and I can trade down a defender and upgrade Tsatas instead given Murdock is mooing

I forgot about Henry!

Nas to Roberts & Robertson to Henry this week will easily allow Carroll/Blamires - (maybe even Lombard) & McAndrew to rookie & Smith next week.

Thanks for reminding me about Henry. Just hadn't considered it for some reason.

Bazza Smith next week. Was deathriding the kent all last night to no avail. My powers wear thin...

Would prefer Heeney being a Swans man, but too much coin. He has huge B/E as well so I will settle for poor score in 100 point win over Pies. It's only fair...

I have the English conundrum. Could use him next week to turn him and Cook or Rosas into Bazlenko and Heeney to complete my mids... But how long is he out for?? No one knows. Otherwise could boost using 1 down 2 up instead for the same outcome to complete mids and keep English if he is back.

Unless we have a rookie - NO TRADES!

That's what I'm thinking atm, but will it last a week?
There's a couple of Def rooks on the bubble but they'll need to show a bit more scoring power this round to entice me...Ryan (Haw) and Johnston (Wce)

Cook & Lindsay before this post are holding up D6 F6 for the moment

Bruhn/Murdoch M7/M8 - this would be upgrade target area for mine as well as Flex (jones there atm)

D Carroll/Marshall
M Retschko/Anderson/Burton
F Henry/Lombard

About 95k in kitty and rooks to cull are there, especially Carroll

A mid to come in, can I cash in for a Smith/Heeney type? Depends on teams next week I guess.

I was lining up Bailey Smith, but the kent went and hit his BE.

But this only makes me want him more, I think. I would have to use Rachele.

But I hate having Rachele in my team, so this is a win win.

Merrett is a good cheaper option too. Essington have a good stretch of games, and he will want to get a few easy kills to impress Grok Mitchell
