Game Day 2026 Round 4 Fantasy Discussion

The last week of the early byes is here and the final week of best 18 before we go back into regularly scheduled best 22. Is your team still holding its shape? Mine certainly isn't.

My team right now:

It's the Easter long weekend which means we have a game on Monday, so lockout won't be lifted until Monday night. Good news is that gives us even more time to play around with our VC options this week as most would have a bye player that they can loop with. Lots of options including Naicos or Zorko on Thursday, Sheezel on Friday, Butters on Saturday. Could even put a sneaky Grundy VC against West Coast (who love to give opposition rucks their top score for the year) if you still have him. Most will have a captain option in the Bulldogs Essendon game on Sunday night just because Essendon look like West Coast last season but on extra strength sleeping pills. Expecting some mighty big scores this week.

Huge break for Geelong since last Thursday's game, surely Bruhn has recovered from his nose injury and will resume point scoring. Big fat zero point last quarter.

There's this to be weary of, and Geelong love a late out.

• We won’t get teams for Hawks v Cats on Monday until Sunday Evening 6:20pm EST. So if you have someone that is a bit dicey on selection, make sure you have that emergency in place.
