So Blakiston should have a solid stretch of 5-6 games and then Bryan could be back, is that the idea?
Suppose that would be OK

The Essendon GM was on the tv coverage during their praccy game, said it's Blakistons spot to lose. IMO if he plays well he'll stay there.

OK, seems like he's worth holding on to.
Have him mostly because he was fairly high ownership when I looked

Yeah, he's a low-ish midpricer, we're just after some cash gen. But he can jump, he can tackle, and he's reasonable in transition. He put 45 points on TdK in the first quarter the other day, so he can do it.

I don't think he'll be a keeper but IMO he'll make money.

Didn't Richmond draft about 15 talls a couple of years ago? You had so many picks, no young rucks?

Not Ruck talls only Sims but he is only 199cm. The only 2 players over 200cm we have on the list is Ryan & Hayes Brown and both are spuds.

Wonder if they get one in the MSD if Nank doesn't sort his shit out.

I've taken Blakiston in Fantasy, where any tap scores points .....can't see him being SC relevant though ...and at his price, seems a trap to me

He's clearly relevant, he's currently in 16% of teams.

Pretty easy to downgrade him to a rookie if it doesn't work.

They had the chance to get a ruck with the SSP a few days ago and decided not to.

sooooo

After all the Reidy talk it’s back to KH floating donut at R3
Yeah I dunno. 20k? At least Reidy is playing (at least for now) and will make some cash. Of course if he gets dropped next week that changes everything.

Of the first 12 rounds Carlton plays Sunday twice (sat 4x). Useless loop

“Making cash” is a stretch, barely made his BE tonight 😂

But the hidden cost of starting him is that it’ll cost you a trade to capitalize on the little coin he’s made

Think he's gone from my team after that...

He's a rookie bigman playing his first game. Willing to forgive. Might not be a good loop, but his DPP allows a heap of flexibility. If you have McAndrew at R3 and he fails or is dropped, you can trade him and use Reidy's DPP to R3 to move on.

Or, on the flip side, if you have Reidy at R3 and McAndrew at R2 (I've seen a lot of this) and McA fails, it allows you to trade a FWD, or even a MID/DEF if your flex is DPP, to a bonefide R2.

Realistically, with best 18, there's only Round 5 before DPP changes that you need to worry about. Blakiston will almost certainly get DEF/RUC then which changes things again.

He'll def make money and is a safe enough pick as he has no competition until Bryan returns. He does have a pretty bad ruck draw after the first couple though
