Position 2026 Rucks

He's a rookie bigman playing his first game. Willing to forgive. Might not be a good loop, but his DPP allows a heap of flexibility. If you have McAndrew at R3 and he fails or is dropped, you can trade him and use Reidy's DPP to R3 to move on.

Or, on the flip side, if you have Reidy at R3 and McAndrew at R2 (I've seen a lot of this) and McA fails, it allows you to trade a FWD, or even a MID/DEF if your flex is DPP, to a bonefide R2.

Realistically, with best 18, there's only Round 5 before DPP changes that you need to worry about. Blakiston will almost certainly get DEF/RUC then which changes things again.
Coleman-Jones v Reidy v McAndrew
all same price but CCj is more older and should get plenty of games this year as 2nd Ruck/Fwd
North has Xerri but CCj offers fwd option also

Love your logic about CCJ.
WIll north REALLLY play him as well?
Only one match in 2025....

I am losing my nerve starting xerri. So worried he will bleed a 200k worth of cash....

Can't wait for the meltdowns when Xerri goes 165 week 1. ;)
Can I ask you why you think he could keep his scoring up?
New rules have thrown a spanner in the scoring for mine.
I get some players cruise in pre season, but if x tanks, I'll be burning a trade. He was a bit underwhelming pre season.
Especially when so many other options look superior early. But they have the ****ing bye.

I think they will
He is their most mature 2nd Ruck that can play foward and they signed him up after he was uncontracted for a reason
He was injured in 2025

McA is an absolute lock.

CCJ is a good option, but no DPP and DPP is important for reasons stated.

Its the easy run that has me feeling abit confident for xerri scoring. Plus I think his just being going thru the motions in pre season.

Xerri first 6 games
Port
WC
Bombers
Blues
Lions
Tigers

We could easily beat up on level of ruck he will see over that run.

Can wait for ZZ to dominate and Kents start complaining their POD is gone
I just hope Flanders is quiet tomorrow, I want him all to myself :moustache:

Think we can close this thread now.

This is the winning ruck line and its already started with Reidys 31

Good luck plebs. See you in 2027.

Ccj is terribly non durable though.

Briggs or Pittonet worth a look? Both stopgaps, but could make a little money while you hope a topliner loses a lot.

TDK a much better option as a stopgap if you are targeting a fallen topliner after the dust settles imo.
He's the one I currently have, keep thinking that Marshall probably sees him pretty much tread water as well, though.
Think rucks in general will have low scoring days and all of them will see fluctuations.
TDK with no Marshall...giddy up

TDK strikes me as the type to score points from tackles and hbgs from repeat stoppage. I'm not 100% on him yet.
