There is no way they will play Draper 1 out early days,

English/Grundy his first 2 opponents pre bye will run him off his legs

Major negative would be if you lock in three premos and a different premo has an injury or bad score you're not able to get them in. Basically have to commit to picking the three top scorers before a game is played.

Unless someone like Jackson or Marshall gets dpp.

Marshall will play fwd with king out-i assume he gets dpp after round 6.

Can anyone make a case for starting TDK if Marshall is likely to play forward for the first six rounds?

Can anyone make a case for TDK irrespective of the Marshall / King situation?

Got a feeling this could be the year for TDK to go to another level but the Marshall factor combined with the unfavourable bye make him difficult to pick

I have English instead of Xerri. R2 been flipping between English and Cameron for a while now.

There’s also a lot of Blues fans who just see Reidy as their shiny new toy and have put one eyed pre season hope on his quality. He’s been heavily hyped since they traded him in - I’d want to see it for myself before getting too excited. He will likely be my R3 but I hold minimal hopes he does any real cash gen

theres talk/hope max will be right by season start or just .

marshalls spent alot of time behind the ball in sims recently roaming around half back so he's not a lock to play forward predominately at this stage.

hta's for TDK be much better with nas/flanders under him than the carlton mids even if they didnt change the rules to his favour

All I was saying is there was No love for him before xmas but now there is a lot more love for him. Track watchers reporting positive things can only be a good thing and I would say that going from not playing to playing is a role change so it could happen I have know idea but if he does play then he could be a great F8.

Briggs is a massive no for me. There isn't a single ruck in the competition that is going to be more negatively affected by the new ruck rule than him. Definitely stay away.

Witts will be the biggest loser. With less ruck contests his HTA will drop. Xerri also, he gets a lot of tackle points around contest. Could be the year to go with less expensive rucks.

Can't imagine anyone looking at the draw doesn't want Xerri. 3 less ball ups will mean sweet **** all.

He could be averaging 150 after 6 weeks.

I reckon it will be more than 3. I'm building my team around the rule changes this year and the impact I perceive them having.

It was 3 in the SANFL under similar rules. Maybe it's 4 in the AFL

Definitely! Could well see a 10% drop in ruck contests.
