It’s utterly bizarre (but completely on brand for the VFL) how the Saints travel is condensed to the first part of the season. Would make sense to spread it evenly, but I guess there are reasons that we aren’t privy to

From memory this isn’t the first time they have had a cushy back end to a season re travel, it was either 2024 or 2023 where they didn’t leave Marvel for the last 6 weeks.

But they’ll still complain about how hard done by they are

Nothing will top Richmond's 2019 for me.

Feel free to fact check me on this, but after round 14 they left Melbourne just once, to play GC at Metricon, that year's wooden spooners. They went to the bye 7-6 before their cushy end of season gig.

Primed them to romp in all their finals.

Was just commenting on the article really. The Fox one had us 5th easiest but still said we'd be rorted which even weirder.

Fixture "analysis" this far out means f all to be truthful, but keeps the AFL in the limelight so serves its purpose (and im commenting on it so they got me)
