So here's my predictions for 2026

1. Brisbane
2. Sydney
3. Geelong
4. Adelaide
5. Western Bulldogs
6. GC
7. Hawthorn
8. Fremantle
9. St Kilda
10. Collingwood
11. Port Adelaide
12. GWS
13. Carlton
14. Melbourne
15. Essendon
16. North Melbourne
17. West Coast
18. Richmond

After 1 and 2 games for some teams, there hasnt been much shifting from last year, Collingwood declining, Dogs and Sydney rising, but I reckon the glaring changes personally from my prediction are:

• Brisbane will be there at the pointy end but might only limp into the top 4 and Sydney could well top the table.
• The Dogs, Sydney and Adelaide are the early favs for a top 4 spot.
• St Kilda are worse than I thought. Probably still a 12-13-14 team
• Port are worse than I thought. Definitely a bottom 6 team. 13 to 16 range most likely.
• North might be a little better than I thought, should absolutely be in that Carlton, Essendon, Melbourne, StKilda, Port Lower spot shuffle. Not just the bottom 3 I had them pegged in.
