Great call we actually have a much better balance of talls and smalls, youth and experience and most importantly depth.

We seem to have addressed our needs with drafting and trading this year, unlike previous seasons.

Should be a great season for the 1’s and 2’s based on a clean bill of health.

Btw the senior side looks about right in any case!!

I'd do a few things differently but I think your main points about youth vs experience and depth are spot on. To that I would add competitiveness, the thing that impressed me most about this year's newbies. All ready to have a crack.

I don't think we have been lacking in talent with our AFL listed players previously, it's just been injuries and that our non-senior listed players haven't been of the highest calibre. However, with the likely inclusions of some very experienced AFL players, plus some of the young guys being more seasoned and experienced, we are stronger and should be very competitive.

I really hope we have some players in the works for next season, especially with the amount of players who have already signed with teams for next year. Given the Devils, Sandringham and St Kilda are all recruiting players, it seems like the amount of available players might be a bit stretched next year across the board.

eg. St Kilda just announced another 4 players today alone.

My club has already got 6 signed with VFL teams next year, so we won't be seeing much of them, either.

Only other one for me is Cameron Owen who was drafted by the Swans a few years back. Delisted after one season I'm pretty sure.

Good to see Kluske and also Joe Harrison at the final gym session in today's Inside Sydney video.

IF Harrison is in fact a part of next year's squad, will be good to see him get more games and get a more prominent role in the team. Especially with Ben Edwards sitting out the year, and Adams a TBC with the achilles.

Pretty sure I saw Harrison training there last time I went to watch. I tried and failed to remember his name even though I could remember you had posted in this thread only recently. The curly blond hair is quite distinctive.

Not sure when the VFL pre-season officially starts, so it's likely we won't get many details on official VFL signings until the last possible moment (as per usual!)?

Did see both Kluske and Harrison in pics from Thursday's session, so you'd have to assume they'll be a part of the squad?
