Great result for Anton.

Think the racing has been really good this weekend. Some genuinely good battles and drivers getting their elbows out.

Triple 8 with a very rare couple of own goals. Feeney only really cost himself a couple of spots in the end but Brown would be spewing.

The Toyota looks a fair way off here.

T8 probably fortunate not to get another penalty, after Brown backed up the field to minimise the disadvantage caused by having to double stack under the SC.

Well done to Anton, who only took 2 races to achieve what I didn't expect Chevy to achieve all season - a race win.

Yeah I looked silly after telling my old man I didn’t expect they’d get a win this year 😂

Interestingly the undercut didn’t work this time like it did on Friday night.

I do wish there were more night races.

Absolutely well done to Anton, hes always rapid at SMP and he made it count. I've always liked the bloke rather than the flog he drives for.

Brodie flew home, if he doesn't get that pitstop delay, he wins in a canter.

T8 both drivers and team uncharacteristically sloppy last night, would expect that to be rectified today.

Erebus is more Barry rather than the team, and ill never ever forgive Charlie for ripping the guts out of DJR.

Always had a soft spot for the Stones and Pete.... and theres no other GM teams left.
I don’t think anyone would blame you for not liking Barry…none of his team ever seem to 😅😂

Massive shambles.
It's not like they had a choice though is it, they had to re-lay due to water coming up or something at the start of the week?

T8 may not be leading teams Championship at the end of the round and of course Melbourne is next with no pit stops. Would be interesting seeing them down the lain a bit.

Yeah thats correct, just a really poor set of circumstances

Shame that rain didn't hit for longer yesterday. I'm 10 mins from the track and we copped it far worse than they got it.

Good racing again. Huge shame for Kai Allen. Got to give it to the guys who were racing without the cool suits, that would've been hell.

As for the pits mentioned above, I didn't think pit position moved race to race? I thought it was sorted for the year based on last years results?

Also, god the coverage can be frustrating.

Allen and Golding both end up with punctures and we don't even have the coverage to show the moment it happened. We also didn't have great footage of Will Brown causing the Anton spin. It just lacks polish.

Don't get me started on that yellow flag yesterday either. How many laps did we lose during that race for one wheel and a bit of debris on the track? Crazy slow to get it sorted.

They spent too much on the new graphics and had to lose a camera or 2 lol.

The interesting thing for me going into the GP is can BRT maintain the rage, their results were better than the points show. Also, how will Toyota go on a horsepower track.

The Toyota's were really interesting. I swear every time they were shown they looked like they were losing positions and yet they all finished top 10.

They look such a smaller car compared to the Mustang and Camaro. A lot narrower but just smaller in general. I'll be really interested watching them throughout the season.

They did benefit from others misfortune and stupidity yesterday, which is smart driving really. They dont look to have outright race pace but if they stay out of trouble and blokes trip over themselves they could be alright when the business end comes around.

Just worry a bit at Albert Park in a straight line. You saw a bit yesterday Kostecki was saving fuel yet pulled away from Chaz easily out of the corner.

Yeah exactly. Like Cam Hill was spun in the early parts of that race and yet ended up top 10.

Nothing at Albert Park would be as long as the Eastern Creek straight would it?

Its more the high speed, wide open throttle nature of the place. Especially since they have taken the lakeside chicane out a few years back. I reckon the start/finish and that back section would go close to 260-270

Pit position now changes from event to event - but not race to race.

By this I mean that there were 3 races at Eastern Creek over the weekend, and pit positions remained fixed for the duration of the event. However, they will be updated ahead of the F1 GP event (with 4 races) in a few weeks time.

Very interesting. Is that a new initiative this year?
