in 2011, when I believe we will seriously challenge for the flag, our spine looks pretty good:

FB - Martin
CHB - Warnock/Garland
C - Jones/Grimes/Petterd
CHF - ???
FF - Watts
R - Spencer

CHF is the glaring issue here, and hopefully we can find someone to make that position their own.

Chuck in our quality youngsters Blease, Strauss, Morton, Maric, Bate, Jurrah, Buckley, Cheney, Jetta, Bennell etc etc and a few veterans who should still be playing good footy in a couple of years (Green, Davey, Bruce, Rivers, Beamer etc) we have to be confident of doing well in the not too distant...

Someone bumped the thread, I rather suspect, because they became a victim of a Headless necro react

I think if the last quarter was tied 20-20 and we win that game by 40 odd points that the blade doesn’t come for him 10 days later or whatever. But yeah, the end was nigh given the CEO and Pres had gone within 12 months and the overall results were going down the toilet.

We’d gone from 6-2 in round 8 2024 to 12-23 in the next 35 games to him getting the chop. He was the walking dead, the only complication was his stupid contract.

Reckon we would have still lost the last three games and the decision would have been made at seasons end.

Too many supporters had switched off, club needed a circuit breaker.
