I actually don't mind Williams, he's got an exquisite boot on him. But I think you're closer to the moneyWe'll end up with Max King and Bailey Williams.

Agree TD. He's a bit more inaccurate but he could clunk them. Think he kicked close to 60 goals in his 3rd season.I though Max would been the Better King Brother but Injuries has Killed his Career

I'd be happy with that (if we thought we could Max on the park). We'll end up with Max King and Bailey Williams.
Williams is a beautiful kick of the footy. I'd take them both.I'd be happy with that (if we thought we could Max on the park).
More brilliant in the air.I though Max would been the Better King Brother but Injuries has Killed his Career
It makes me more confident he will be a Pie.So GC don't want Ben, 2 year deal at 1.3m.
Yes, the door is ajar.It makes me more confident he will be a Pie.
Thought he was really poised to take over the comp after 2023. Had improved his kicking for goal and was clunking marks. Just so injuredMore brilliant in the air.

His hit ups seem “easy” because he loses defenders with his craftSpot on by Browny. I would be very cautious paying 1.5M for a tall forward not great in a contest and who relies on easy hit ups for his goals
The problem that I and I assume others have is that it becomes a lot harder in finals and big matches to rely purely on craft and speed to get separation. That aerial ability is what separates the likes of Curnow and King from say a Morris in big finals. I think the biggest benefit may wind up being that a guy like West gets the 2nd banana in those games who he’ll hopefully be able to manhandle once he’s fully developed. His hit ups seem “easy” because he loses defenders with his craft
I think King would be great for West, similarly to how Daniher in 2024 allowed Morris (who was obviously precocious anyway) to improve taking lesser defenders. The problem that I and I assume others have is that it becomes a lot harder in finals and big matches to rely purely on craft and speed to get separation. Serious pace to lose them too, but I wouldn't pay a huge price for him either. His hit ups seem “easy” because he loses defenders with his craft
Not just the lesser defenders. He's really dangerous on the lead and thus drags one out of the hot spot. Charlie is very good one out. and I think that's the biggest issue up forward with our current mix - no one other than Elliott can drag their man away to seperate the defence.I think King would be great for West, similarly to how Daniher in 2024 allowed Morris (who was obviously precocious anyway) to improve taking lesser defenders.
Weird saying this, but BBB might just be our most important OOC re-sign this year. On that basis this ain’t early, just very welcome. It is a need, he has improved and the options in the market not preferred. Go BBB.Gettable also reported that there's been early extension talks for Billy Frampton.
By early I presume Twomey meant "preliminary."Weird saying this, but BBB might just be our most important OOC re-sign this year. On that basis this ain’t early, just very welcome. It is a need, he has improved and the options in the market not preferred. Go BBB.
When we picked BBB I liked the selection. The surprise was the three year commitment to a player moving to their third club. Premiership player and best 23. He definitely ain’t bottom 6. SFA into a very good player, with decreasing moments, well done pies. I did not intend to pick your wording and appreciate your post. I am ain’t the Kane spud stupidity.By early I presume Twomey meant "preliminary."
