Not sure.Would still cost 3 x first round picks as a minimum
The new rules are even more reason why they will match. For one it costs more to match. And secondly compo is slated to start at pick 9.Not sure.
Port are every chance to finish bottom 4, and have likely number 1 pick Cochrane this year.
Also under the new rules, you can only match with 2 first rounders.
If he does in fact get get bid on at pick 1, then port will need 2 x top 5 picks to match.
Their own, and the likely Zak butters compo.
Also, players are a lot more lenient with out of contract free agents who have been loyal for 8 years.
In your opinion do you see a world of reasons for why it could be true Prag? This guy went on to say it was Nick.

The bolded. But if McClure is to be believed based on his article last week there appears to be some level of grumpiness from Nick towards Fly and how he's utilised. Particularly with Fly revealing the two of them had a chat about how they can best support him.In your opinion do you see a world of reasons for why it could be true Prag?
If i'm to entertain the idea I feel the biggest reason would be our lack of development and knowing what's ahead for the rest of his career if the team doesn't successfully refresh for another real tilt.
I don't really take him as the kind of player to stick around just because of the name. He'd have to be painfully aware of his own potential and how that slots into the right team regardless of which club it is.
Admittedly I've also found myself a little annoyed/worried by what seems to be quite a bit of stubbornness from Fly. His lack of interest in young players is also pretty concerning. Definitely wouldn't surprise me if Nick made an attempt or two to see what else is out there. The bolded. It was a little disappointing to draw parallels between McClure saying last week in his article that Daicos was frustrated in moves last season to limit his impact around the contest - and then the very next game Daicos is told to hold his line on the wing as we get belted in the middle.
I like Checkers, but as much as he was a warrior for us, there were times over the last couple of years where he could have iced games for us, but missed easy shots on goal that ended up leading to a loss. It’s funny they talking about mihocek it’s one game see how he goes
This is the quote from McClure's article:Admittedly I've also found myself a little annoyed/worried by what seems to be quite a bit of stubbornness from Fly. Also by moves last season to limit his impact around the contest, you mean the tagging?
Why wouldn't we ask for West? Why isn't he being played ahead of 2 under performing 30 years olds in McStay and Membrey?I like Checkers, but as much as he was a warrior for us, there were times over the last couple of years where he could have iced games for us, but missed easy shots on goal that ended up leading to a loss.
Even if we had him this year, he wouldn’t be offering much more than what we have already got over the season and people will still be asking for West to come in.
So this apparently took place, and all the footy news breakers we have snooping around haven't heard about it and reported on it, in what would be a huge story. Yet this guy knows.....BullThis guy went on to say it was Nick.

...How the feck are we going to fit all of those players in?I'd be looking at:
Jed Busslinger (WB) KPD out of contract
Harry Rowston (GWS) M out of contract
Max Gruzewski (GWS) KPF out of contract
Straight swap Ed Allan for Elijah Tastes (ESS) M
Phoenix Gothard (GWS) SF out of contract
Will Dawson (NM) KPD 20yo 200cm out of contract
Oliver Hannaford (GWS) F
Ryan Angwin (GWS) M
Jack Ough (GWS) M 194cm
Alex Davies (GC) M 192cm out of contract
Ben Jepson (GC) - M UFA 24yo 184cm
Oscar Adams (GC) KPD UFA 22yo 198cm
Toby Pink (NM) KPD UFA 27yo 194cm
Lachlan Bramble (WB) M UFA 27yo 182cm
Lachlan McNeill (WB) F UFA 24yo 184cm
Ryan Gardner (WB) KPD UFA 28yo 197cm
Jake Kolodjashnij (GEE) KPD 30yo 193cm
So you have Nick leaving that would get us a minimum of 3 top 10 picks and a player. With him leaving and Hill being sacked we will have 3m plus in the cap but we won’t land anyone.Pies are in for some real pain coming up.
Absolutely no way King, Butters or Humphrey pick us based on what's available and the list.
When there's smoke there's fire with Nick.
Fly I'm not sure is the coach to take us through a rebuild.
**** me we handle losses wellPies are in for some real pain coming up.

If we beat GWS at Marvel in round 3, I’m locking us in for the flag**** me we handle losses well
**** me we handle losses well
I 100% expect Nick to explore options at the end of his contract. All teams would give him a blank cheque.
But him approaching a coach after 4 seasons after only failing to make a prelim once seems way too far fetched.
We’ve cleared the books so we can attract talent to support. Sounds like BS.
**** me we handle losses well
Oh no idea. Just referencing the rumour post that campaigner Hawthorn moderator posted.Who's the coach?
Thanks KaneIt's not one loss, we have only won 4 out of 11 matches.
Things changed once we went goalless for the first half against GC. We have not kicked 100 or more points in 11 consecutive games.

Thanks Kane
When you start adding together games across 2 seasons to prove a point, you are exposing a lack of footy nous Ala KaneIf that's your best response, then we are in serious trouble
