My view is if they're in the best team you keep them without a hesitation. But if not you move them on. I think that's what we'll do and are doing. Pendles Sidey and Howe are just freaks. Howe is the interesting one. It's only injuries or him deciding to retire that I think will finish him. With West, Howes, Buller and McCarthy, I would like to move on from Membrey. We need to move on from these old blokes. No wonder people are questioning our development
Tim kicked 32 goals last season, he also assisted who knows how many. He's not a selfish player.Depends on how he, Buller, West and Mcstay play. If they think he'll be best 23 he'd get another year. I doubt we keep an oldie to be depth though.

I'd probably keep him over McStay but he'll have to have a bloody good year. Our depth players need to be the young guys, not the old ones.Tim kicked 32 goals last season, he also assisted who knows how many. He's not a selfish player.
If he can kick 30+ this year then I think he's a chance.
For all I Know he might want to retire this year.
I know, I have been moaning about that all year and now look what I go and do!I'd probably keep him over McStay but he'll have to have a bloody good year. Our depth players need to be the young guys, not the old ones.

Agree on thatWhen older players become depth and get overtaken like WHE, Mitchell, Markov, it's time to move them on. Its clear this is Howe's final year. I think that was pretty obvious when he re-signed for one more year (with the chance to go into coaching after that)
I think Sidey is the only one of the trio that'll go on into 2027
With Membrey, it'll depend if he gets overtaken by one of the youngsters.
For me it depends on how much they are on.When older players become depth and get overtaken like WHE, Mitchell, Markov, it's time to move them on. Its clear this is Howe's final year. If he's still best 23 at the end of the year, he'll get renewed - why would you weaken your team? But if he's dropped out of the team, I wouldn't like his chances of an extension.Tim kicked 32 goals last season, he also assisted who knows how many. He's not a selfish player.

Yep, agree. If he's still best 23 at the end of the year, he'll get renewed - why would you weaken your team? But if he's dropped out of the team, I wouldn't like his chances of an extension.
Nick and Butters looked as thick as thieves last night. Get it done!
They could have. Havent done it in a few years. If 5 clubs could stream their intra club match why couldn't Collingwood? The biggest club in the competition with the most fans.
I think that's pretty slack.
Seems like they just can't be bothered, I think they are taking their fans for granted. I would think there is a fair percentage of members that don't live in Melbourne and can't get to games. They could have. Havent done it in a few years.
At least got the game v gws on friday to look forward to.Seems like they just can't be bothered, I think they are taking their fans for granted. I would think there is a fair percentage of members that don't live in Melbourne and can't get to games.
I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have the jumper presentations. It used to be free but this year it costs $495 dollarsSeems like they just can't be bothered, I think they are taking their fans for granted. Right, have you figured out if you can get Kayo over there? At least got the game v gws on friday to look forward to.
What do you mean? 495$ for what exactly?I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have the jumper presentations. It used to be free but this year it costs $495 dollars
It was a private function where you had to pay to see the jumper presentationWhat do you mean? 495$ for what exactly?
Yeah they used to do it after the intraclub. I hadn't even heard when they were doing it this year and assume its privately.I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have the jumper presentations. It used to be free but this year it costs $495 dollars
Oh I see, 495$ a plate sort of dinner? It was a private function where you had to pay to see the jumper presentation
What is your trade bait to get it done ?Did anyone else cream their pants watching Butters and Daicos link up last night?
