Shanahan was still on the board when we grabbed Whitlock. Now maybe the pick mortgaging was done specifically for Whitlock, but I went back and had a look, and a few on here well versed with the juniors were keen on Shanahan

Yes, I'm well aware of that, my point was the stupidity of giving up pick 25 as we would have had several talls to choose from and not have to trade out our F1 to select one.
