It actually all kinda adds up. Sounds like he's been doing a lot of mental health work on himself or something, and often for people with a certain type of selfless personality, you start to prioritize what it is you want rather than what's best for others.I was thinking that myself. Jy’s a really productive player and strong trainer. He wanted to be captain. Not sure he is selfless. He appears to like being in the frame / front and centre.It actually all kinda adds up. Sounds like he's been doing a lot of mental health work on himself or something, and often for people with a certain type of selfless personality, you start to prioritize what it is you want rather than what's best for others.
Just my pure, complete speculation. But I think the interview speaks to a change in mindset that aligns with this request.
