Looks like you are going to need a big notebook bengrina! :)
Hahaha you coming down mate? I have a list in my phone of these questions and will ask . I went down to gold coast last year and spent a good hour chatting to various players . Paul Curtis in particular was incredibly generous with his time

Yeah mate. Aiming to get there at 10am ish

At least it was to someone with an idea fresher than 2015.
You think Voss doesn't delegate to Ash Hansen? Lyon to Enright or Harvey? Hardwick to Grigg?
No senior coach does everything themselves. All of them delegate to assistants.

Nick Butler from c10 news must love north. I know he does the podcast with Chom.

Did his third north story on the new this week.

Interviewed LDU from the camp via Skype.

Take aways

- yesterdays session was a 14km session, then a surprise 7 min hard run at the end. Trying to test mental resolve

- the team is aiming for finals in 2026

- he’s proud to be in the leadership group and has worked hard on improving his off field influence

- clarko told him the most important thing he can do is dominate in games

- signed on because he’s confident the youth will get the team where it wants to be

Still mad about the cones. It put Spargo in front ffs, lol.
I reckon the near cones are for the Spargo infused group, whilst the far ones are for the other plodders in the background, heading the other way. FWIW, I reckon Spargo looks a bit like Ian Davis in that imitation World Series Cricket cap :-D

This is the tactical genius we are paying Clarko the big bucks for.
It’s the one thing that everyone wants LDU to do. LDU has now said publicly that’s what Clarko wants him to do, seems a pretty shrewd move if you ask me. Over to you LDU.

Hands-off coaching at $1,000,000 a year.

Sweet gig.

If he doesn't he's control freak Clarko, won't accept other ideas....he does delegate, he's doing nothing.

Every player needs their buttons pushed differently.

A hands on delegater?

Seems like senior coaches are essentially EPL managers these days.
Call the shots from the sidelines and have the buck ultimately stop with them, but the line and development coaches do most of the direct 1 on 1 coaching.

Any questions people want me to ask specific players tomorrow? I’ll roll down with pen and paper 🤣

Ask Duursma if he's been introduced to the Essendon boys and had his guernsey number allocated yet.

Once old Zachary Merrett flips over to the poos and wees, the #7'll be all his

The F word is scary around these parts.

Couldn't ask for a better dude to have around the club than Kevin Mealamu
Not the biggest bloke on the rugby field, but tough as, and you couldn't find a nicer guy on the planet

All Black set up is about as professional as you get too. You don't dominate the game for hundred years with a small population base unless you do the small things really well without the level of money that the Northern Hemisphere sides enjoy.
All Black sides were also always fitter than other sides.
Lots the North players can learn

so i applaud the move from the club

I’ve got a biography or auto biography of Tewara Nikau somewhere, he’s another super fella
