Whole session looked a bit lacklustre but pretty windy conditions.
Walker and Worner really stood out in defence. Worner was kicking beautifully. Walker cleared with dash and his kicking was exceptional.
Thanks Count, think you may have inadvertently answered the “what’s going on with Ryan” question, if Worner and Walker are standing out he may just be 5th best “general defender” right now, behind Clark, McVee, Walker And Worner.

Wind looks low in Geelong on Saturday so it will be nice to not have to deal with it for our first game. It's even going to be a sunny 23 degrees which is a heat wave over there.

Noticed that Erasmus was kicking with his left seemingly exclusively.
Running Ok and linked up well with handball.
Thats my buddy right there.

There's only one Neil Erasmus!

I see Sweidy's mate Huss is debuting for Essendon. It's gotta be a bit tough for Sweidy since he's so driven & they both came through the Essendon NGA together and got drafted higher. But just reflective of where each team list is at.
Reckon Essendon would be a genuine chance at the spoon if based off list talent/experience alone.

Always felt Brad Scott overperformed with mostly sh**house lists (compared to ladder position) tbh so they'll probably finish just outside the wildcard spots.

Reckon Sweidy will be stoked for him, and will defs be hoping he has an absolute belter of a game

Club usually takes a youngster or two over as a traveller early in the season, maybe they'll do it for Sweid and let him go to the game on Friday

Depends on how many of the Peel games he has played so far though
The WAFL season doesn't start until the 3rd April, so none of our new youngsters will have played for Peel for three rounds.
I see Murray as being selected for Geelong.
Maybe as you suggested, they will take Sweid to see his parents and friends. But again that will depend on how far advanced he is into his preseason fitness.

Yeh the Doco on the ABC showed they were very close and riding the roller coaster of the draft happy for each other's success.

I just remembered one of the things Sweid said was drafted. He said he wanted play the first game. I loved his drive but thought whoa calm down a bit, other players already have that spot and won't want to give it up easily. As it is Frederick has got injured so maybe but even so other players are ahead of him.

So by all reports after all the drama in the last couple of weeks, the only best 22 players expected to miss through injury are Cox, who is 1 week away, and Freddie
Couldnt ask for a better preseason really.

Who gives a **** about that Hayden Young scrub who couldn't hit the side of the barn in our scratchy. Is Sean Darcy in or not?

No one to debut (excluding club debuts like McVee)?! Usually there's a load cheer for a newcomer's first game. Anyone witness anything at the last training sesh?! Murray?!
