You remember we've met each other at training right? I've posted many training reports myself over the years.

This need to shit on BB all the time is as cringe as Yyou's refusal to acknowledge Brayshaw.

Of course I appreciate training reports as much as anyone. I'm not having a go at you, I just pointed out the irony that your negative aligns with your crusade against Bailey. I hope that the squad develops to the point that Bailey plays all season at Peel, that's the ideal season.

Not sure if you realised but JL isn't keeping score on posts about players. Swanny wasn't able to get JL sacked by posting it a million times and you won't get BB dropped by bagging him a million times.

I said the same thing about Bailey in a training report as KH did. If you don't like observations of training then don't read them is the point. People are donating their time and its an individual interpretation so of course its up too the person viewing to interpret as they see it.

But he struggled to handball the ball to players only a few meters away today compared to everyone else. I can't ignore his lack of skill. He isn't a very good player. That's a fact and I'm not going to pretend he is to keep a few petals on here, namely you happy.

Wasn't just referring to this one report. Go to last year's preseason he gets a 'special' mention from you in each. Couldn't of been the worse performer in each of those or the one today. If he isn't a stand out then perhaps he doesn't need a special mention each time

What you post is entirely up to you. But anyone can also call out what is observed. Maybe as I half jokingly said one time you have BB as a key word trigger you have the need to insert his name into

I find it incredibly frustrating that there are posters who come in to this thread and bag out the people who give up their time to give us THEIR OPINIONS on training. I don't always agree with Huskii's views on individual players, but I don't feel the need to try to win the internet by bagging him for having an opinion. Maybe just a simple thank you and give us your OPINION on training when you get the chance.

I don't need you to find one comment I've made to try and prove your narrative. There are many others that have criticism of banners that I have no qualms about. Yet you seem to drone on n on, like the same JL haters you dislike lol

My last word on this is calling out your constant vendetta towards a specific player, whether it's in your reports, every time his name is mentioned or spamming an appreciation thread

Even when it's so noticeable even to a non BB supporter who called you out on it

We appreciate the input on training reports, even if that comes with different opinions, and yes biases.

I am more than willing to wave the flag in a Banners appreciation thread, but when it comes to training reports I'd suggest (strongly) to let it lie.

Jokes will be on you all when we bring the tagger back, and it's Bailey muthaclucking Banfield.

We can all make our own opinions on this player and that but hats off to all Pre-season training watchers that take time to post what they have seen as like many others I cannot make it to training.

Training report
I had both of my awesome children with me so I may have missed a bit.

Training started with a decent warm up that wasn't much different to last season. They go from warn ups to modified game mode with separate forwards, mids and backs who eventually link up. Some around the perimeter of the Oval overlap handball and kicking then finally into match sim with the use of full oval and some peel lads filling in. A fee peel boys looked good. I don't know them so won't go into detail there. Then some cool down running. A good 2 and a half hours of medium to high intensity Training.

As mentioned most players available and those not joining in match sims did running and looked in good condition, especially Sweid.

Notable mentions go to Jye Amiss who was probably the most productive key forward today. Lead well and kicked well.

Murray might get a game early from the moments i saw but sometimes I may have got some of the new players and train ons mixed up.

The best players during match sim was Brayshaw Young and Serong. Not all on the same team. Young is elite bar one kick.

Dudley looks much fitter and so does Reid. Tall Cox played only as a tall forward. Maybe i missed those moments but I'm sure he just floated inside 50.

O'Driscoll was ok but still buggers some kicks. It can cost turnovers. He does look strong and fit. Just needs more composure.

Banfield had one good kick in match sim and a shocker of a handball under token pressure.

Some great chase down tackles. Gee Freddy runs hard to tackle.

This preseason I'm trying to ballance out the positive and slightly negative views i have. Overall a good session with only a little bit of average ball use.

He was harsh on switta, but I agree he needs to kick more goals in that small forward role - can't just be a connector.
