The end result (around 2027) is a cashless digital financial system controlled by powerful AI that will know all your financial details

It will be sold as the best way to keep you safe and stop crime, but humans with absolute power don't have a great track record and the modern world has given the elite class an unprecedented technology to control and manage the masses

eg: Go through a red light and the fine will be deducted from your account before you reach the other side of the road

eg: In a lockdown you will be able to use your credit card to get a pizza delivered, but if you try to leave the house and buy a pizza from the same shop your credit card won't work

All this will be controlled by 'their' programmed AI, facilitated by the banking system and enforced by robotics and drones, and there's pretty much no way to avoid it, going off grid will just mean you can't access anything so let's hope the elite don't forget the lesson of the guillotine

It pays to remember that we aren't really human, that's just a sub species designation, we're great apes, that's our family, and in that society there is always an Alpha, but it's interesting what happens if that Alpha becomes overly abusive or takes too much of the food/resources for themselves, the other apes gang up and tear him to pieces

And in the end that's the only thing we have going for us, they are a few hundred families maybe a few thousand... but we're 8 billion, and those revolutions can happen in the blink of an eye, it's the only thing they really fear so it will be interesting to see how benevolent they are, if I'm honest the blatant criminality and disregard for the law doesn't bode well.

Would you accept that your finances, internet access and movement have been a 'known' and 'tracked' thing for a decade? All the 'free apps' you use, all the internet browsers that you've never paid for... They exist because they sell your data. VPNs etc don't stop people from having access to you, your browsing history and your interactions.

Facebook has been one of the most invasive and profitable companies in terms of data harvesting. Palantir knows more about you than anyone in your family.

So yes you're right to have your position and argue it. But you're wrong in your fight, because you've been tricked into hate, and targeting something insubstantial. You'll never win a war against an ether. And that's why you've been misdirected.

What I'm trying to explain is that data scraping isn't an issue because of 'future AI', it's been happening for over a decade.

Using a VPN doesn't hide or protect you from being identified.
Clearing your cookies/history etc... anything that's available as a tool of the web browser, doesn't do anything for your privacy.

Musk didn't create or develop anything. What you're talking about already exists. It's been a profitable model for a decade.

I feel that we have mostly the same views and outcomes, but it's important how we approach them.
If we allow ourselves to be mislead as long as it supports our preconceptions, we'll be susceptible to other misleading information.
