Would like to see him kicks more and make better decision by foot aswell but gee you just have to admire how he goes about it. Plays well above his years

So good and composed. What a game.

If we can get the McGrath-style rushed disposals out of his game, he'll be a star. He has proven to be a good kick at AFL level so I'm not worried.

Same. Has to tidy up some decisions but have to like the fact he will take the game on.

Biggest problem for him is lack of movement up the field. He clearly wants to make stuff happen but is stifled by the safe set up.

Much easier to do in a non-dogshit team.

Not every time, noted atleast two times he had some good options and didn’t take them

Wouldn't be surprised to see him in the leadership group next year, and if he's not, he should be
From my understanding, few of the younger lads have taken a shining to him. A leader without the title

He has to win the rising star. He has had four or five games now where he has been our best or close to our best player.

He's been very good BUT needs to be better with his decision making and ball use..he holds onto it for far too long and gets himself into trouble and then has to rush his kick or handball to teammates in a worse position.

For sure, but I did think a couple of times when he was criticised by commentary he was simply taking a more aggressive option over a safe one. Sometimes they look bad because our forwards are disproportionately uncompetitive 1 on 1, whereas Geelong would win or half those contests in the same context.

I don’t think we can ever build a successful system exclusively playing to open targets like we are currently.
