what do you call it when you mis-hear songs?

'caribou queen
now we're sharing the same dream . . .' :D
Is there a word for that ?

Not sure, but I do it all the time.

Although, I must confess that I don't ever recall thinking Billy Ocean was getting down and dirty with wildlife.

Posted this in the tail of the Thomo injury thread, but I think this guy is the answer to our gaping hole at FF.

Has the skills, good lead, good mark, good finishing.

I think he's the one player have that has proven he can do it at the top level, and I'd like to see us give him a roll in the slot.
You might be right.

Corey's on track to kick more than Thomo.

Huge game. Campbell Brown is no dud, and he ripped him apart. Did everything well. No brain snaps, no selfish kick in hope nonsense.

Sensational performance.

I've said it before & I'll say it again - Corey Jones is in our top 5 players. He is a nightmare match-up for the opposition also. And to destroy Campbell Brown & Joel Smith today the way he did was GREAT!

Yep, because he's rubbish.

:thumbsu:
never said he was rubbish, just not as good as you make out he is. But I must be wrong because you have shown yourself to be such great judge of football talent. You should go back and dig up all your old predictions about players. JP would have made such a difference to tassies backline this year!

Hey champ, having a crush on a poster like me isn't uncommon, you'll get over it. There's a support group. I'll PM you the number. :thumbsu:

If Mark Williams can play full forward for us and kick 60+ goals a year then i'm sure corey jones can do the same. He's got the skills/know-how/and a really good over head mark.

I wish we traded him a couple of years back, i think you guys blocked the proposal in the end.

There can be only one...
I've enjoyed watching the improvement to his game this year, he has been far less selfish although at times it does creep in a bit. He has worked on his kicking as well, far more reliable than he has been in previous years. I hope he is able to keep it going.

C Jones has been our most important player for around 3 years now, extremely underated for along time. Very good in the air against smaller opponents, and too smart for the dumb athletes in the competition, eg Campbell Brown and Adam Mcphee. Has to be a definate All Australian. As for being a selfish player i dont know where that comes from. He is a forward who should have a shot when under pressure in forward 50
