I am waiting for the day when Shifter says "that kid is a real piece of ####, if character was important at a club they would steer clear"

I recon that the Campos will be bargains. They get a lot more ball than a lot of players drafted ahead of them. Looking at the highlights they appear to have plenty of dash. Loved the running play in the highlights where they were waxing and had 4 possessions between them in one play

I'm glad he got a bid. Good for his confidence to know he wasn't just drafted because of FS. Someone else wanted him.

Comes across as a less sure of himself then Ben and it translates on field where he generally takes safer options compared to his brother. Hopefully we can build him up. I think he's got more in him then he's shown.

Oh gosh, Agro… you and I have been around these footy sites long enough to remember when his old man was copping it for being a “seagull” looking for cheap handballs out the back. I agree that his boys look like they can roll their sleeves up though

I have Lucas in the 'could be anything' basket. He's a good athlete with footy IQ which is a good start. Reminds me a lot of his dad who was a run and carry aggressive winger who ran all day and broke the lines. I think his kicking needs a tidy up but being a professional now, that will come.

Genuine winger. It's a hard position, takes a lot of athleticism and footy smarts. He and Binns in the VFL next season will be interesting viewing. He will also likely play half back at times.

I think he's a natural footballer which is not surprising with his father being an elite player. He's a genuine wait and see. Potential is there. We didn't get Dan Houston

Considering all the success with F&S Geelong have had and the draft leg up Sydney gets was a bit shifty of them to make the bids. Was fully expecting teams like Pies, *, Saints to pull that kind of thing off.

12 months ago was the favoured twin in the top level development programs. Quietish draft year, when future all but assured. Watch this space. Wing, half back and we are a year or two from needing next gen. in those areas. Perfect
needs based pick, along with the F/S romance.

Ben started overtaking him last year in terms of midfield presence. He wasn't quiet... it was just that Ben was hitting his straps big time.

Taken a bit earlier than we would have liked I think. But welcome to the Blues Lucas.

Jagga was the #1 pick all year, we got him for pick 3.
HOF is a top 30 player in any other draft. Pick 40 is a steal.
The picks we got Ben and Lucas for are outright theft. Ben should have been top 20 and Lucas top 30.

Early on in his career Scott was fearless - it was only in the last two years at Carlton when we were very crap he used to inflate his stats by seagulling and playing on out of the goal square when taking the kick outs.
