Who said clubs were put off? He went at pick 25 so by that theory anyone after 25 also had "issues" as they were overlooked?

Truth of the matter is most "experts" at the big media outlets had no idea about the draft.

Very Very Excited by what Noah Can produce in the future , Leppa,Truck,Rance,Jack this kid has so much he can learn from the people we have at Tigerland

I wanted us to get this kid the most out of all the KPP available - He is a free hit for Richmond thanks to our great trade of #15 for #20 & #25

Im sure that even if we kept #15 with the way the draft went we would have still selected Higgins with #15 over Richards & Bailey

Knightmare on the draft board has consistently had him 5-10 all year in his power rankings

The fact that he's not totally bought into footy is fine from my point of view, just look at what Cotchy and Rance have been able to achieve. No two better mentors for Noah than them, especially Rancey in defence.

My son hated watching footy too until this year. Maybe Balta is a Tiger supporter!

My son has always been top 1-2 in the team through juniors and loves playing, likes to watch a few games live each year but really is not interested in sitting down in front of a tv and watching a game. Not watching games means nothing for love of the game or his desire to improve when he plays. Balta will get plenty of game plan video now he is in a professional environment. However there is a bit of Post about him, but Post was nowhere near as athletic as this kid.

Stoked we got Balta after Brander was gone. Will be interesting to watch our VFL side this year and see where they fit:
Balta, CCJ, Miller, Chol, Soldo, Griffiths and Hampson

Hope he enjoys his last year of AFL.
