Really glad the club retained his services and that he feels Melbourne is a good place for him.

Showed so much in the games he played at the end of the season. He will be one of the top tier B players you need in a team to get success.
 
He's the perfect role player for us as he has a lot of damage per possession/contest

He doesn't need to get 30 touches as we have enough talent in the midfield to do that consistently, he just needs to break the game open a few times with big hits/tackles/don't argues and take a few strong overhead marks

I thought his composure with ball in hand was surprisingly good when he came back into the side as well

Very happy he re-signed. His tackling intensity set the tone for our finals against Geelong and Hawthorn. Also was one of the few who did anything in the prelim and stiff-armed a bunch of players on the wing.

I was worried we would be loosing to may of his types this trade period, with Kent, Bugg and Tyson all offering tackling or contested ability. With less inside mid depth he will likely get more time in the guts as well.
