Solid enough group coming through for a team thats not rebuilding. HOF and Dean look the goods as key pillars down back if they can translate their junior ability to AFL levels. HOF was bloody unreal last night.

Really just need to fill in the blanks over the next few years via trade, draft or internal development. Will take a miracle to replace Curnow and Mckay though.

Cotts as a high half forward flanker, Lucas Camporeale on the wing Cotts is on. Lemmey in full forward. I'd swap Cerra for Lord or Ben Camporeale. With a bit of luck, Lukas Koutoufides can come in as a CHF for us. Then we also need to fit Cody in there. But yeah, that backline with O'Farrell looks solid AF.

An update on young defender Harry O'Farrell.

THE CARLTON Football Club can confirm that defender Harry O’Farrell has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.
O’Farrell was subbed out in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against Fremantle.

The 19-year-old underwent scans today on his return to Melbourne, which confirmed the injury.
"He will go into surgery, with the Club to provide him with all the support he needs through his rehabilitation.
